What is Alzheimer's? - Alzheimer's is the most common form of dementia. It is a progressive and fatal disease that causes the deterioration of the brain. There is currently no cure for Alzheimer's disease.

What causes Alzheimer's, What are the Risks?
- While currently the cause of Alzheimer's is still unknown, we do know many risk factors. The number one risk factor is age. Family history and genetics are also factors as well as head injuries as well as general healthy living (diet and exercise).
What can be done?
- While there is no cure for Alzheimer's there are various different treatments available to help slow down its progression. There are also various medications available to help treat the many symptoms that accompany Alzheimer's. If you think you or someone you know may have Alzheimer's seek medical attention as soon as possible. The sooner treatment begins the better the prognosis and quality of life for the patient.
